One of the coolest things about having a social media presence is getting to rub elbows with other social media presences. Does that make any sense?

  • We use our flock blocks during the summer. So they have something other then just their normal food. They go nuts for it. The ducks aren’t happy cause they don’t have a beak made for it. They are actually pretty cheap at tractor supply.

  • Lester, Daniel's FB page has been hacked. Dumb and dumber is one of the best movies! Sorry to hear your FB page was hacked. They even took family videos. FB will not help them. Check out their IRcloud titled We've been hacked. Check out Hidden Heights. Kevin built a feeder bin that he can put the food in a trough from one side of the fence and not get run over. I love your family and babies. You make my day better every day

  • I've seen your animals collaborating on all kinds of shenanigans. I'd like to tell a story I witnessed..I once had a hanging ball of bird seed right over the wooden back fence. I watched a rat family with 6 kids walk the fence top to the feeder. The adult rats could stand up and eat off it. Then they put together the plan for the babies. They formed a cheerleader pyramid that rotated the small ones up to where they each got turns to eat. After a half hour, everyone had fed. I called it THE RAT FAMILY GOES TO MCDONALD'S incident.

  • They are not going to be happy but you need to lock them in the coop for a few days so they learn where home is. Once you do that then for a few more days feed them in there. Until then with you getting colder weather you just have to feed them in there and heard them in. Geese and ducks move fairly easily. You keep your arms out wide and heard them in. First step lock them out of the pond pasture. So trick them out with feed. Second step lock the other littles out of the original little pasture while you work with the feathers. They get spooked to easily. Use a fishing net to catch the ones you can't heard in. Since the littles have a new barn fence in the covered area as a run for them and enclose the other part all the way to prevent wind. Wind is your biggest enemy. Your heat lamp is almost worthless with the wind. Maybe on the top where you have fence of their coop now put up some metal panels but make it like a shutter so they can be opened on the hot humid days you want a breeze. Cooping them all up at night is the best thing for them because of the predator issue you have been having too. Plenty of roost space up higher for chickens and turkeys and plenty of floor space for ducks and geese.

  • I love the comparison between other goats and your goats but you know what??? YOUR goats make me laugh! That’s why I watch this channel. I love getting to know the personalities of each of the animals. Cog Hill is amazing if you want or need help especially with breeding feathered babies. I’m pretty sure most of their critters have inside access at night and for the cold too. I know the chickens do. They were preparing for cold too last video I saw. Lester if you ever have time check out Cross Timber’s Bison. It’s Daniel’s brothers farm. He only raises bison but it’s quite impressive if anyone is interested. Anyway, I think the ducks are smart enough to come to the barn and grab a corner of hay if they get too cold. Good luck the next few days. I’m hoping you don’t lose power. Please keep us posted if you can and don’t drive! You won’t be able to go upload videos for a while but we’ll be here when you do!!

  • One of my favorite videos was the goat comparison vids! But Lester your babies are pets, most have been bottle fed and that's why we love the sanctuary and the babies' shenanigans! I hope the ducks and geese will follow the littles if they get too cold. AdamorSteve follows the littles so hopefully the others will follow him if it gets too cold. You've made areas for them to go to to be warm. Let's hope they'll go there if they need to. Prayers for all the babies and all you Morrows, that all comes out well through this extremely cold weather. In my prayers and thoughts as I watch the weather in your area!

  • Laughed so hard in your comparison video. Hardest part for your feather babies will be catching them all. Stop feeding them for a day (too late now, I guess) and then let Jamie play pied piper and lead them into a closed in area where they can’t get out, maybe your “man’s guest house, tee hee. Anyway you have my prayers that they will all survive and the electric company keeps the heat flowing. Will be waiting anxiously for updates.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Stupid videos being shared in there, and Daniel has reached out to Facebook who have said they are short-staffed due to Covid so no idea if/when they’ll ever get to fix it. Absolutely heartbreaking.
